While watching sin city motors of all things .

 

They needed to pull the wheel arches out slightly to clear the wheels. They put a baseball bat inbetween the arch and tyre and rolled the car back and forward gently til it made clearance.

I learn something new every day. My mate attempted to do the same recently with his veg-burning 124 coupe, but using the wheel and tyre. The balljoint gave way after less than a week of squeaks.
