RENOMAD, if you buy a copy of the Irish Auto Trader there's an ad for a guy who goes over and back every few days with a car transporter. I think he comes through Dublin or Rosslare thoughOr does it have to go to Stranraer for a specific reason?

I would guess its cheaper on the ferry being a shorter sailing time.

What about a ferry from Troon? That's only 30-something miles from Glasgow as opposed to 90-odd to Stranraer.
