overrun Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I want to repair my electronic dipstick. The resistor fell to bits, when I attempted to solder new connections to it. Any idea how I can find out what value the replacement should be?
Squire_Dawson Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Does it have some thin coloured bands around it?
catsinthewelder Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Have you got a multimeter that measures resistance?
overrun Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 No bands. I tried with the multimeter, but I think it's knackered, tbh. It is very tempermental. I currently have a manual one. That one.The car came specced with the electronic one and I would like it to work. If only just to stop the dash light flashing, on start up. Cheers.
