Tell me about..... Toyota Aygos

Friend of mine bought her (manual) 107 brand new in 2006. It's never failed to proceed - no idea on the mileage but apart from the occasional service and a new clutch that's been it. Quite good fun to drive and they have done several 400 mile round trips in it with no bother.

I've had various Aygo/C1/107s as rentals since they came out... Can't really comment on reliability, but I agree that they're fairly pleasant to drive and surprisingly economical. They are also free from many 'new car' problem areas, like multiplex wiring etc. which is always good news.

 

Having said that, they're far too mainstream and sensible for Autoshite... What your folks really need is a used Perodua Myvi !
