thing is we had Mk1 and 2 transits up and down the street. They only had eyes for the pickup...

What have you got Nigel?

oh yeah I remember now. You cant get earlier than that! Hows your brakes? I have no experience of the pedals through the floor thing. If the minibus ones work, they can stay. The first sign of trouble I have two options. A disc set up from a late Mk2 or drum set up from a 73 Mk1. I never thought it was a good idea to put the servo under the floor where it can (these days) get bashed on a speed bump or covered in road salt/crap.

Looks great, didn't think you could get something this old and that condition with a ford badge for 1000?

Honestly? I got lucky. It was advertised without a mention of Mk1.

No brakes. The front axle (6 stud) was wider than the rear axle (5) -so was swopped out, presumably Mk2? However one of the calipers is cracked- and I've not chased to find a replacement.

But, aside from that (& a few hours with the tickler) it would be a tatters dream.  But -even legal, I'd be scared to leave it out, so I just use some of the others & leave it barned.

Its day will come -I guess

you would be better off changing the front one back to the 5 stud. I have a spare drum axle if it helps

ah right, read it again and see what you mean. So its 5 stud all round now?

it is, all complete & sorted -save a cracked caliper. I'll sort it -one day(prob 48hrs after I needed it!)
