Son's 1994 Mazada 323f 1.5 GLX. These just fall into the cheaper tax bracket.

 

After nearly 2 years of absolutely trouble free motoring it has failed the MOT.

 

No real horror stories but he has bought a Mk 4 Golf so I can't be arsed fixing it.

 

Failed on

 

CV gaitor

Bottom ball joint (same side)

Rear wheel cylinder

2 front tyres (due no doubt to above mentioned ball joint)

Exhaust bracket on straight piece of mid section where weld has broken, exhaust not rotten so a little dab with a welder will cure.

 

That is it. Car is still taxed until end of Oct and has 1/2 tank of petrol. Near rear box fitted earlier this year btw.

 

It is a sort of metallic greeny/blue colour with central locking and lecky windows x 4. Genuine Minilite style Mazda alloys

 

Car has done 140k but has had cambelt done twice in its life (non interference twin cam engine anyway)

 

Spare belts, airfilter , 2 x sets of keys, genuine Mazda alarm with cert and thick history file. Think son is third owner, we bought off an older couple that bought a new 323!

 

Fews scratches here and there but very presentable.

 

Would have no hesitation in driving anywhere
