I first drove one of those in 1984, it was an Avis one - A280RBM, that I had to take from Ipswich to Europcar at Heathrow, on the first leg of its return journey to Avis in Plymouth, swapped it for an Escort 1.6 Automatic ELW262Y. Got completely lost in London on the way back as the M25 wasn't complete.

They did have the Cavalier dash.
