I have to say if it had been manual I'd be the proud owner of this car by now...

Carina now in the scooters smorgasbord of chod. Huge thanks to Herr unt Frau Tiff who were sporting enough to come down to Edinburgh with the car, we then went back to Fox Hat and I dropped them home before the 35 miles home.

A remarkably un chodlike car, its in superb condirion a testement to its giffer riginal owner and tiffs skills. Reminded me very much of my LS400 without the body roll and thirst. Quick, well screwed together. Comfy economical. I didnt find the much maligned handling offensive in the slightest, ok its no MK2 Gti but its not that bad either. Mind you I have been driving an iveco and a high lift rangerover for the last week!

Good to meet you and the dug this evening, sorry the Carina wasn't looking its best- I wish the cooncil would stop throwing tonnes of salt all over the roads. It was clean and sparkly this morning for all of 2 miles.. Forgot to tell you the bits of plastic in the centre console cubby is a spare headlamp washer, took me ages to find one to replace the one that was missing when I got the car, so anytime I came across one I grabbed it- only ever found 2. There is also a small bottle of touch up paint in the glove box.
