Changing bulbs on a modern

Talking of lights, quickest ever bulb fix on the Corsa today. I noticed the rear n/s tail light was out when I was de-icing the windows, so I punched it and it came back on again. BO SELECTA.

 

Lol!

 

Myself and a fellow car liking friend had a plea of help from a damsel in the office to look at her car this morning as it was throwing a 'bulb failure' warning (10 plate polo). One of the sidelights has gone, however to change it looks tricky.

 

The sidelight is right at the bottom of the cluster, and access is via a hole at the side too small for either of our hands to get in and fiddle, so we suggested halfords on payday. Sod taking the light out in the car park in the snow!

 

We asked what bulb had blown before we saw it and she didn't know. "Do your dipped beams work?" "Whats that?"
