This is Rose, the latest addition. I say latest but we bought her almost a year ago, but didn't get round to doing anything with her (apart from moving her from one storage to another) till the late summer!

When we got her er, she didn't look like this! The freezer was balanced on the chassis and she had no floor in the back. Also missing was most of the dash and the driver's seat. I don't think she turned out bad......

I think I saw this on ebay last year. Cummins bodied petrol Transit..Uber rare, as most by then were CF diesels, fitted with either a Carpigiani or Maria soft ice cream machine.

She's defo only ever been a scoopy. No sign of a PTO for a machine. She's a 1600 crossflow petrol FFS! No way could that run a soft ice machine. I think the van was on ebay at some stage though.

A lot of vans from this era have donated the fibreglass bodywork to slant nose Transits as well. Great save there.

Yup, I was painfully aware of the body snatchers sniffing about. The body's reputed to be worth about a grand but I think it would look pants on even a Mk2.
