One of them is still flat packed. You would have to bolt it together, drill a couple of 12mm holes in the drawbar to bolt on the towing coupler, and fix on the lights and wire them up yourself. I can include everything except the 8x4 sheet of plywood. 1/2" is what I would recommend or they get too heavy to fold. You also need to grease the bearing howself (there is a grease nipple on the hub cap, but if you go mad it will blow out the rear seal).

The other one is already built and I have used it a few times but it's still in excellent condition.

I only want to sell one and I don't really mind which.

Pickup from Ruislip or Hatfield (working hours).

They weigh about 100kg and payload is supposed to be 450kg. They are unbraked.

They are a private sale and no warranty and you tow at your own risk etc etc.

£230 for the flat pack (including lights, reflectors, hitch, wheels etc but not the wood).

£350 for the already built one.

Perfect for hauling rubbish to the dump, or I guess put a motorbike on the back, or building projects.

I shall ask swmbo'd about this later - any way of fitting a ramp (or three) onto it.

EDIT: What am I saying - three notches cut out of the back bit of ply and three small ramps clipped on and then thrown in tow car when it's time to drive off

it is designed to take 3/4" ply, so when folded there is 1 1/2" gap between the metal without the wood

if you put thinner wood like I have, then you have another 1/2" gap, so you could make ramps and just hinge them on. When folded they could fold into the gap.

If you used metal plate or mesh or something instead of wood, you could easily end up with enough room with for a 1" thick ramp

I'm not sure if that's clear?

I'm thinking of bubble car moving! Hence the three ramps - as the heaviest I own is 400kg, the trailer would be ideal. It's up to the one with the purse strings!

what size is the box it comes in - ie would it fit inside an estate car?

I like the idea of the ability to put sides on it too. I guess they were an extra.

the not-assembled one comes in two boxes

the biggest box is approx 63"x8"x10"

the other is approx the size of the two wheels with tyres stacked, so a lot smaller

lastly there is a Sainsburys bag with lights, triangle and reflectors

I haven't got any number plate lights so you may want to buy a couple of those

I don't think you would even need an estate car

as far as I can tell (with some guessing) the limiting factor on the payload is the tyres. If you want to carry more then you would need bigger wheels and tyres.

Here is the original spec sheet. It's an 851
