Sale of Goods act - anyone been there??

I think they are within their 'rights' to repair the vehicle to the condition it was at the time of purchase,and not obliged to use new parts;however putting a different engine with different speciforcation is not putting the vehicle back to the condition or description of the vehicle purchased.Ask for a refund,or just sling them into the small claims court
