Is the Rover 200 / 25 the Mk4 Allegro? Discuss

R3 200/25 is an all-Rover design. The only Honda involvement is indirect, in as much as the R3 has a cut-down floorpan of the previous car, the R8, and the front subframe is not dissimilar from the R8's either. Mk2 400 and 45 is the HHR, which is an Honda to all intents and purposes. My own 25 has very minor parts on it marked with the BMW symbol.

 

PUB FACT: The temperature sender for the ECU on the K engine 25 is the same part as a BMW K1100 motorcycle.
