Thanks Tiffx19, sadly that doesn't seem to work. :(

As payment i was going to give you the chance to replace the head gasket on the x19 :)

any other relative 4 digit numbers welcomed.

I've a feeling you need to open it up and look for a row of soldered links to calculate the code.

It's the Hyundai one you need to download. When you run the Exe file you will get something like this.

Hyundai.jpg

When you open the radio you should see a row of ten numbered positions on the board that could accept links. For each one that is linked click the corresponding number on the left side of the calculator and hit "Gen" once you have clicked all the link numbers.

If you want you can take a picture of the PCB/ tell me the numbers and I'll get the code.

I can't see anything there but I've found more specific instructions on one of the calculators I have, which suggest that you need to look on the underside and near the front.

Remove base plate and look for the Micro

which is central near the front . To the right of

the stereo is a line of 10 solder joints . They

have either been joined with a blob of solder or

not . Click to show the solder joints or leave

open .

Thanks. Have put stereo back together, it seems a little bigger than before, but brute force won, and its back in the dash. Awaiting for it to unlock, and will try and enter that code, failing that, I'll sing. :)
