Anybody know of a good mobile tuner / mechanic in the Warrin

After 18 months of grinding and welding I am in a position to get Pete's old SD1 running.

However, I have had to remove the dizzy to prime the oil pump as it had drained during the lay up.

Unfortunately, I cannot get the bastard to start - the timing is out, it feels like it wants to go then splutters.

It may just need a new set of plugs, however even if I get it going it will need the timing setting up properly so I would rather leave it to someone with more know how than I.

Anybody got any recommendations?

The end of the title should read in the Warrington area.

I was hoping for a rabbit joke or some kind of Watership Down comedy routine...

On a serious note I can explain how to get it back to the correct timing position, is it the V8?

It is - I have consulted the haynes / Rover workshop manual / various internet forums regarding setting it up.

It may just need another set of plugs, however I do not want to risk spending £30 on a new set if I end up killing them trying to get it going, hence my request for a professional.

A bike mechanic told me that modern plugs simply do not respond to cleaning like they used to, this was backed up by my GSXR 750 which kept fouling it's plugs because somebody had dynojetted it then set it up in their living room. A rolling road session cured the problem, no more plugs needed at £10 a pop.

Any advice appreciated. By the way it is an EFi model.
