Retro Cars Magazine, that is....Was quite surprised to see it on the shelf at Asda this afternoon....Thought I'd buy it....Gimme summat to look at while sitting in the garden this arvo! Shite includes:'85 Ford Sierra.'77 Audi 80.'82 "Slater" Metro Turbo (pictured in my/S.L's hometown, Sudbury).'68 Sunbeam Stiletto with 200bhp.Sporty Sunbeams and Avengers.'79 Mitsubishi Sapporo....Etc etc.And some interesting looking "project" cars....Check it out, if you're that way inclined!

Carlo, you, like me, obviously saw Baz's thread title, put 2 + 2 together & got 6! Baz, is it starting over again from issue 1? Is it being produced by an entirely new team with no connections to the previous mag or is it just a rehash?

Hmmm....I can see how the title of this thread may have mislead some of you....Carlo, vendor of the R20 was introduced to me through this site, not Ebay....I e-mailed him for a "quarterly update" on progress with the car a week or two ago....He hasn't replied....Surprise, surfeckingprise! I'm really not interested anymore....I've tried being gentlemanly about it all....He says he's going through a rough time, so I've cut him nearly two years' worth of slack, he repays me by ignoring my e-mails! I have my MX-5 now, and am more than happy with it....The intention is, once my housing situation is sorted, and know where I can put the R20, I'll get my brother-in-law's car transporter and go to this gentleman's house and take my car, in whatever state it happens to be in at the time....I'll do this merely because I've paid for it, and it's mine....Not really because I want it anymore! I think that any Shite I purchase in future may well be from the land of the rising sun, and preferably with pop-ups! There are loads of interesting possibilities! Anyway....Back to Topic....The mag looks very similar to last time, but is now owned by different publishers, and is marked as "Issue 1"....I'm gonna try it for a few months at least....Looks good!

I've been trying to find it myself with no luck. (retro Cars that is) Not a single WHSmiths in the area has it and similarly Tesco is bereft.....

Picked up a copy in my local Spar last night on the way to the kebabery shop. That MiniMetro just Rocks (though not keen on the slammed look, but each to their own).
