Its with quite a heavy heart that I'm having to sell this. I did always want to put it back on the road as when I was using it it was a fabulous car.

Its a 2lt 12valve twin carb (non 4ws) with a manual gearbox (seems to be quite rare)

The only reason its off the road is because I'm a forgetful clot and never checked if the cambelt had been changed.

Obviously, before long the belt snapped. It went at very slow speed with the clutch in anyway so Ive been told it might be a lucky escape on the interference front.

However, that is not all. The clutch hydraulics have drained, be that the slave cylinder or something even more sinister I'm not sure, the clutch pedal doesn't return anymore though.

I seem to remember it needs a CV joint as it clicks on lock, they're about £20 on ebay.

I imagine there will be other issues if its bought to be put back on the road, it will certianly need a service and a good going through.

Theres a spot of rust on the leading edge of the passenger rear arch, but its nowhere near owt structural and I dare say would repair quite neatly.

I sourced some 16V-4WS steels and trims and its got a great stock look to it, the tyres are a matching set of Continental Contacts and have loads of meat on 'em.

This is 4x100 so obviously wheel choice is vast.

A couple of weekends work by someone with some time and space and it'd be a cracking car. Or source a 2.2Vtec from a later 5th Gen and make an awesome track car.

Obviously, it can't be driven away so collection will have to be on a trailer/flatbed.

I do however need the space, so if its still here in a week its getting weighed-in (not something I really want to do, but I'm at bursting point at the moment)

I'm available to ring pretty much anytime.

Sod the engine - new tat [too] Dave?

I'd bung it on ebay and risk the idiots. Failing that, strip the interior and have the wheels and tyres away - always a market for those.
