question about importing parts?

Strange one this...i,ve found a company in AUZ who sell rear window blinds for my Triumph 2000,they are made of steel,and he is willing to send to the u.k,BUT he says i might get customs charges???Can someone point me in the direction of how i can find out more about this?,they are 320 AUD anyway,which isn,t cheap!

I've imported all sorts of rare stuff from OZ not yet been hit for Customs. But -you might -if its 'your day'. Is not a huge amount -Vat plus 10% on total (inc carriage) -but the inconvenience can be huge. I think its most likely to happen if the description is vague and there's a possibility of illicit contraband.Air mail it -here in 7-10 days
