DVLA local offices to close

Put it this way: it'll save everyone of the working population just over £1.20 a year or so. That's got to be a worthwhile saving, hasn't it?

I don't think so.

I've used the Nottingham office a couple of times for plate swaps. I get there at opening time,. wait about 10 mins for my number to be called and a helpful, efficient employee deals with it in 3-4 minutes. I piss off home and the docs come through a week later.

And they're going to close all this to save what amounts to a reasonable lottery win? I would imagine plate swap inspections eyc will take place at a VOSA site.

If they're losing cash why not just chuck another batch of V5 and SORN notices in the bin then fine people for not sending them?

They've already done that one to death! LOL

Great :( Getting sense out of the DVLA is sometimes entirely dependent on being able to speak to someone face to face.
