Have an outtake from the Q Park mini shoot that people seemed to like. The No Skoolers seem to love it as well.

Welcome to the forum, fellow Volvo fan :)

Indeed - welcome to the two of your. Your 440 looked great 345DL. I looked at a suspiciously cheap late model 440 Turbo in Eastbourne, but some confusion about its exact mileage, and the fact that the seller referred to part worn boots as 'new' tyres put me off somewhat.

Notice the wing mirrors on this Turbo-this distinguishes an early 460, the later ones were smaller - yes, I am an anorack!

No need to feel bad - your knowledge will help me a great deal. I can tell the OEM dealer supplied wing mirrors on Amazons apart if it's any consolation. Do you know of anyone with a set of the early 460 mirrors? For some unaccountable reason the previous owner but one gaffer taped over them and the resulting look is not a pretty one.

I spotted a phase 2 460 at work today as well - before the evening went to pieces during and after the fireworks display in Woodford.

CLICKACLICKACLICKACLICKACLICKACLICKA etc etc etc. All Volvos of this era I've owned (340, 440, 740) do it, drove me crackers too.

Simple cure- take the bulb out of the warning light and it stops the clicking too.

i used to own a 94' 'L" reg 440 se with the b20 2.0litre engine, it was the same red colour as that chaps 440 on the previous page. i twas a great car, but there is a little plug under the seat you undo to stop the clackclackclack noise. i discovered this about a month before i sold it, after owning it 2 years.

Sorry about the amount of time getting back to you. Yes, I have found a 440 Turbo of a similar vintage to your 460. It's listed on eBay as breaking for spares - and has these early mirrors on it (it's a G-Reg). It looks clean and has a recorded 68,000 miles, so maybe worth liberating a few other parts for your car? Here's the link:
