Paignton Car Show Sunday 22 July

Popped down to have a look at this as it's only ten miles away, weather always seems to be baking when this is on.  

 

Same old, same old is all I can say, usual mix of archetypal British classics with the very occasional foreign oddity, best thing was a nice '62 Chrysler Newport which seemed to be circling the road a few times.

That Newport is indeed lovely....Pity car shows are full of collapsing gazebos and hi-viz these days, that Cresta could almost be a brochure shot, especially with those de-rigeur but never-seen-in-public whitewalls.

I agree but Paignton is the worst offender in that respect, surrounded by funfairs, roadworks and various marquees and tents.  I've never liked photographing cars in rows in fields anyway, much prefer them on the road and leaving.  Also I was trying to work out what that logo was on the Chrysler's grill, it seems they all have it.
