What's the spanner rating for Rover P5 gearbox

Has anyone done a P5 6 cyl manual gearbox, this one has a noisy overdrive, goes silent when engaged, from a quick gawk under the car it doesn't look like pulling the overdrive off on its own will be possible, not sure if the gearbox will part company and clear too easily either, swapped the engine a while back and that was a vicous bastard, as was all the other work I did on the car, like when rebushing the suspension and there's twelvty tonnes of force waiting to kill or maim, and while this car didn't actually hurt me, I could just tell it was thinking about it.
