Lucas mirror bracket

Hi all,

 

 

can anyone help me with the 2 hole bracket, and T piece, as seen in this photo ??

 

I heard that it is from a Rover P4 ??

Here is what I got -- I know my car had this mirror, when new, so I would like to correct this.

The top mounting is very similar to the similar aged Land Rovers.. Obviously ball diameter matters, and the fact the Land Rover type is not chromed, but black powder coated/painted. I may even have one somewhere on a broken mirror. If I get a chance, I will take a look in my 3 sheds and garage this coming weekend.......

Thanks for your reply, I knew it was some other make, as Wood & Pickett raided the bins, of many different makes

 

to make their cars, I will keep my fingers crossed, and see if you find one ??

I found nothing yet.... 3 sheds and a garage are big spaces. Like a needle in a haystack.
