Seed Ford. Colne Lancs

Seed Ford was better known as just Seeds was a Ford main dealer in Colne Lancashire and traded from the 1950s to the late 1980s when the site was redeveloped and a kwiksave store was built on the site. I spent virtually most of my time there as a young teenager between 1978 and 1981. I spent more time up there talking to the salesmen up there than I did with my pals I think.......and learned more about life than school could ever teach me. I was wondering if anyone had any memories or if possible any photos of the old place as I have so many memories of the great times I had there.

Yeah it was. I can still remember most colour/ trim combos for Fords of the era. Sad eh? Like I say though I learned a lot and it gave me the incetive to do well at school and collage.

Yep, I remember that place. Drove past last week as it happens. Kwik Save long gone now, building has a sign saying it has been acquired by the NHS now and looks very derelict.

 

They had another place down the road in Nelson which is long since demolished and is now a Lidl IIRC.

 

No pics unfortunately and Google seems to not have anything either.
