Trolleybuses FTW! Why on earth they didn't bring those back instead of introducing those new battery-fuelled buses that you see from time to time sitting on the Quayside with their hazard lights flashing is a thing I'll never understand. Maybe something to do with exposed cables hanging above the roads?

 

Apparently, there were 6302 trolley buses in total operating in the UK, who'd have thought it eh?

 

Loved the film of the Anglia-derived Ringtons' van blasting across the causeway to St Mary's light, I guess lighthouses needed tea and biscuits too.

As a nipper I can remember the trolleybuses on Clayton Street ...

 

I took a girl to The Spanish City - she loved it whilst I had to keep running off to be "ill" after some of the rides. Despite being a wimp, it went well ....
