grizz Posted December 28, 2024 Author Posted December 28, 2024 @Craigrk has a car for sale. £600.00 Advertised in For Sale section Due to the imminent arrival of a company car our trusty old Audi Avant is looking for a new home. MOT to 8 July 219,295 miles, but likely to change as still used while for sale. Owned 3.5 years and c.40,000 miles used mainly by son for commuting between Surrey, Portsmouth, Bath, Belfast and Sheffield i.e. many motorway miles. Two owners (same family) prior to us. Great drive and been very reliable in our use Condition commensurate with age hence ideal for people who know these cars keep trundling on. Factory removable towbar with working electrics Factory roof bars Location - Shropshire - SY13 Negative points New wings fitted this year (that’s positive) for the MOT and the colour match is slightly off, but no worse than fading on other similar aged vehicles. The brake wear sensor is on, despite the pads being fine. There is a broken wire which I haven’t been inclined to replace, I have the car serviced and brakes checked regularly. The oil sensor is on (not oil light, the sensor), despite oil levels being fine. My understanding is that there is a sensor on the dipstick which is faulty (I could be wrong - word of mouth). Neither of the above two sensor warnings are MOT issues so I’ve not bothered spending money to repair them both have been on for years and at least 20,000 miles with no issues. Price at £600 for a quick sale as it won’t be insured from next week so would rather it left the premises before or around then.
Bmwdumptruck Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 OMG Ryan, thats so sad. Only ever had one dog, will hopefully have another at some point when things fall into place. But the hardest day of our lives the last day with our Barney. Anyway, thanks for another year of your endless enthusiasm for projects. Hopefully the new year will see you back in work, keep the projects coming, you make us all envious of your energy. RIP BobbieG Westbay and grizz 1 1

grizz Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Pavement gods were kind again. Guy at other end of Ring Doorbell said Microwave was surplus after house move. I will clean it and test at home, not in that order. Been wanting to replace my 1000W microwave for many months. Free 1250W could be good. Bulk Box of new unused M16 through bolts and nuts were FREE. Someone will use them. Ring Doorbell also confirmed 12V to 220Volt inverter is not working. Question is what, why and could it be just a fuse or an atomic meltdown?? Either way, interesting. Next job. Make a coffee, edit 65 minutes into half of that and upload to Youtube for Secret Shed Build series. FREE CASH IS GOOD ?? . CraigRK, Stinkwheel, Westbay and 1 other 4

grizz Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 New to me YouTube channel I discovered may not appeal to many but that’s never important. Their sentiment does. Called DISCOVER CONNECTION This was the first video I had seen. Sometimes something just strikes a chord. I hope you like Olga. I would love to know her story. Her humour and English ability implies more behind the smile. Stas in Siberia has has a better English ability than most Brits (not hard) Anyway. Hope you do enjoy this. It is certainly light entertainment.

Oscars my fourth ginger, first was as a young kid, my main memory was finding him dead in our garage one day. Always wanted another but it was years before Baz adopted me. He was a customers kitten, they’d taken in him and his sister. He was so much fun, in and around me while working there, in my tools, getting under floors etc. when I left I jokingly picked him up to take him with me. A few weeks later she rang me and asked to have him as they’d lost the sister out on the road and couldn’t bear the idea of him going the same way. I lived in a quiet close backing onto a graveyard. So we had him. Turned out the truth was he was an excellent hunter, a real murderer. He had everything literally, mice, rabbits, squirrels, slowworms and hundreds of pigeons. Our garden rarely lacked feathers. But he was the softest, daftest and cuddliest of cats. You could pick him up and fuss him any way, roll him on his back, rub his belly, anything. Had him years, he was about 16 when we believe he got caught by a car or something, shattered his back end. grizz and Westbay 2

Bmwdumptruck Posted January 3 Posted January 3 We still had two other cats left after losing Baz, so it wasn’t till both had passed that we adopted a big white fella, Ollie, another softy, another that loved belly rubs. After a few years with him we saw Chester looking for a home. Turned out he had a dicky heart and wasn’t expected to live long, but we had him anyway. We lost him end of 23 when something went wrong which paralysed his back end. Late night run to emergency vets to put him down, £460odd bill rip off bastards. He was a very free spirit, rarely indoors, often found sleeping on the manhole in the street……. Last spring a neighbour in the close opposite stopped me and asked about him. Apparently he spent days sitting with her in her conservatory the previous summer while she was recovering from a big op. Ollie seemed to lose any desire to live after Chester went. Only a few weeks later we had to let him go too. £70 at our usual vet. Wasn’t long after the wife started looking for another. I was trying for a bit of time without one……… spring last year Oscar showed up. Think I’d said it had to be another ginger hoping it would delay things a bit…… well that didn’t work……. grizz 1
Bmwdumptruck Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Ocsars cuddly, loves sitting on you, loves doing biscuits and sticking his claws in while doing it. No belly allowed…..at all…. But he’s got the curliest tail I’ve ever seen. Always seems to be curled round something. grizz 1
