Welcome Back mate !!!

Been waiting for you to come back.

Pain is a relative term.

I am sure yours was not physical but psychologically I felt it from here.

Next episode published.

Episode 24  Part 2 now available.

Front panel of drivers side fender welded in and finished for etch primer.

When you have to do one of these, the trick is patience, measuring and in my opinion, cold air on every spot welded.

The way I was doing it, was to use my bare hand to test the welds. Cool enough to hold, move on to the next.

Grindback, fix pinholes, eventually DA and put aside for primer.

Well.

Life is fickle.

My favourite lodger got given notice at the end of his shift last night.

He was a great guy to have in the house compared to most who stay here.

So I refunded his rent, gave him dinner and then be showered, packed up and headed out for the 5 hours home.

I will keep the room open for a week, in case he gets to jump onto another contract and return.

He also gave me a signed Andy McKee guitar and Gig case to keep as his wife only allows two guitars in the house.

In other news, Dennis got given a cool Yamahe golfkart. Nice big offroad wheels.

The flower came up in my garden.

Almost alien in appearance.

Yesterday I replaced the shitty leaking tap in the toilet with a flexi hose and new stopcock. Had to cut it short with a grinder because my pipe cutter never fitted. Guess what……

Yup. A new leak. Now under the cistern where the water goes in.

Can’t seem to win at this.

No wonder plumbers charge what they do.

Right.

Back to the garage and sanding filler.

Maybe I get some primer on again later.

Yeah maybe got rotated out of it's happy place when tightening the flexi coupler on to it? - easy done...

Will the big plastic nut nip up maybe with moles or pump pliers?

Possibly.

That was my thinking.

Happpy place indeed.

I will check later.

Last night ended up with a major setback in the garage.

More about this later if anyone is interested.

Shit luck comes in threes, Right ??

My favourite lodger moved out yesterday.

Last night ended up with a major setback in the garage at closing time.

More about this later if anyone is interested.

Wish I could ignore this.

Actually…….. Here it is.

Dropped my door after primer for blocking or paint.
Was carrying it like a tray.
Damaged it badly
No access to top or middle dents.
They are not dents, they are crumples.
Tore rear folded seam open too.

I knew this could happen.

Absolutely gutted.

Now I need to pull the dents and start fixing that.
