grizz Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 So yesterday I got a bit of a reaction from a viewer to the video that I made of George the cat. Alienating subscribers or viewers is probably not my main goal when I am still celebrating every subscriber to join my channels viewership. I have had some people take sides because they know George is a dick, but he is mine to call that while loving him more than you can imagine. I am also still chuckling at myself. Had an MRI appointment yesterday. I managed to fall asleep in the machine three times and rang the emergency bell unknowingly stopping the procedure. I also have to recognise the NHS staff that I have so far been in contact with. From a locum GP taking my complaint seriously, the consultant escalating my case and all the staff at the diagnostic centre, reception, nursing, imaging staff, every one amazing clinicians and humans. This morning I was watching four Ravens feeding from a bowl of chilli I had put out for them. Today I have gardening tasks to get to. I have cut up the C10 load-bed floor to use as part of an extended raised garden bed next to the “Little Shed” ohhh and I need to find someone who can safely clean up the hood and load bed panels. . Westbay Posted April 17 Posted April 17 "I managed to fall asleep in the machine three times and rang the emergency bell unknowingly stopping the procedure. " 🤣 I only managed to do that once ! So, you know what to do when you can't sleep - get a recording of the MRI motor scan and play it on a continuous loop ... grizz 1

grizz Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Run out of porn to watch?? 😉 Watch this guy travel Namibia. I have watched a few countries he travelled in. grizz Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Stainless Steel wire brush, Cif/Jif/Handy Andy/Ammonia gel, water, petrol, less swearing and a good rinse on the little wall. Looks lovely, even if I say so myself. My friend Vladimir in Russia also offered help last night with writing the book. Now I need to gather my courage to go get started on the truck parts again. Processing the dents and marks in the steel. It may take a while. .

grizz Posted April 19 Author Posted April 19 Good call on the Bondo, Rian. You've put way too much work in on the body to risk filler failure. . . . . But….. Feeling sorry for myself (lack of progress) I went rummaging in my shelves of incredibly random junk. …………. Guess what I found?? Remember Afghanistan?? Humvees were deployed in multitudes. Some even got repatriated and sold into the civilian market. In 2015 on my first 🇺🇸 road trip, in Texarkana I was gifted with a pair of well used 24V LED headlights Of course this opened a whole can of fishing bait. First thing: My C10 suddenly needed a 24 Volt source to run them, and obviously an alternator to back up 2x12V batteries I was also planning on relocating both batteries to under the passenger seat on the chassis. So that fixed my heartache at not getting to fill, sand, fill, sand, repeat….. The polycarbonate lenses on both units as in desperate need of a good buffing. Typically, I gave my buffing setup, abrasives and wheels away years ago. No idea to whom, I think it was Woodsie but it could be anyone. I also rediscovered my police style spot light. I don’t think it’s complete but currently have no plans to drill a hole through the A pillar. Tonight was steak night, but thats been changed too…. Pizza, spring rolls and samosas. LIFE IS GOOD ©️ So we roll with what comes our way. . auntiemaryscanary and Westbay 2

93fxdl Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Instead of going through the faff of a 24 volt conversion, how about something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/316430721294?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3yayhehcsfc&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=2oNbumgoQ7a&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Providing power for just the headlights Possibly one for each side, so if one fails you dont loose all headlights Ttfn Glenn jim89, GlenAnderson, Westbay and 1 other 3 1

grizz Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 Episode 16 Doors primed to uniform colour. I prefer to start that way. New electric DA sander is a Champion
grizz Posted April 21 Author Posted April 21 Monday afternoon Wasted (well I only paid for one large tin) filler on the side waiting to go out next week. Only worthwhile job I have done over the weekend is cut grass and over the street sidewalk. And removed a smashed chest of drawers and a dismantled glass TV Table. I used the top shelf to make a canopy over the little sheds front door. So I have about 650mm or 25 inches overhang. Even I am pleased with how it looks. .
93fxdl Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Better the filler goes in the bin than possibly ruining all your hard work, Will be interested to see how the new da works out, my 5 inch electric has finally called enough, so might be time for an upgrade Ps might be an idea with all your angle grinder type tools, open the head up and slap some grease in there, and every now and then, give the motor a blow out to get all the dust and muck out So you only cut the grass, that is time banked for the pickup Everything done is a step forward Westbay, grizz and MrBig 2 1
93fxdl Posted April 22 Posted April 22 While you have the cab completely stripped, would this be time to insulate or sound proof all the bits that would normally be inaccessible, under dash, top of bulkhead, inside of doors?
