♻️ Grizz’s. NEW QUEST Three Wheels 🦡 ~~ ASTRO Van 🚙 Renault SCENIC 1.5dci 🚙 1966 Chevy C10 🚘

Washed the Astro van yesterday.

Drove out to the Six Bells Pub for a £5.00 burger and a mooch around.

Burger is always good

It was hot, probably around 26’C in the shade.

Usual suspects out there and a few vehicles I had not seen before.

My favourite, despite some expensive cars, was an imported, totally original Toyota Land Cruiser.

I was thinking while washing the Astro that the time has come for the next vehicle….. a 70-80’s station wagon or Longroof.
Then driving it to the car show I realised once again, how much I enjoy this car.

Have a bunch of photos.

The van ... 🤩😍🥰

I feel obliged to tell you that the van is about 200% below your expectations.

You will not buy this thing upon close inspection.

Trust me.

Neighbors rear hedge had not been cut down in 5-6 years since I used to cut it on the outside.

Cutting hedges hard in mid summer is hard work.

I essentially bought it sight unseen.

You have seen the flaws I have corrected so far.

I really enjoy polishing turds.

Go back to “Not a Project “ the Blazer.

Perfect case in point.

Made another one

This is probably my favourite so far.

I will give it to a friend I met in America.

Opened the paint tin to get the marble. @Dozer and I still do this.

Left over paint created a miracle cat.

Although, you’d probably get a fence panel in the back of the kind of ridiculous land-barge American station wagon that I know you’re always tempted by.

Small random side job……

Replaced some of my fence panels

Love the new ones muchly.

Doing the rest of the fence to match up will be another £220.00

DILEMMA DILEMMA DILEMMA.

DANG !!

Do I keep the cash and spend it at Ethyls and give Kelly a big tip next week or smile at the new fences ?

Well…….

Friday night.

What next then?

How about a home visit?

Yes, I have sort of tidied the house

Her:

Rides horses

Rides a GSXR 1000

Highly competitive.

Stands at 5’2”

Self employed, self reliant.

Really nice on phone and text so far.

Wish us both luck.

A great outcome will be having a great evening with conversation and getting to know each other.

Fruit Picnic in the garden under the big tree, still HOT here.

Best of luck.

In my personal experience, horsey women are fucking nuts.

But at least you always know where you stand….

…If they’ve got one horse, you’ll be in second place. Two horses you’ll be in third.

If they’ve got dogs or cats, you’ll be behind them too.

Judgemental dickhead

Because I went upstairs to get changed before feeding him.

Sat down there glaring.

Made him wait extra long. (Raced downstairs to feed him)
