Plastidip

Anyone tried this stuff? I don't need it to look good for much more than a year but I want my old chod work vans in a matt silver finish and sign written,  looking smart as they can.

I will flat them a bit to make it stick a bit better. It seems reasonable value at about £250 including spray gun for small van.

I really can't be arsed proper spraying and flatting etc

Unless other shite ideas?

Thanks

My thoughts are....will it definitely good? I.e my sprinter has some rust and if I were to plastidip, the rusty patches would still be very visible.

I would save my money and spend a weekend d t cutting, dressing the plastics and mopping

Not too rusty on the bodies I will sort the arches on one very minor. Signwrighting will cover most of the vans. I saw one the other day that had been done and seemed good bit of scratching by handle on drivers door revealing white original colour.

Just wondering if anyone tried it, I sprayed a van years ago with good results but don't have time to do it to three. This looks ok for temporary solution quick and cheap? Or shit and ripoff?

Apparently it doesn't look good or peel unless you use  the recommended amount which is four gallons for a small van!

Lots of people using spray cans and not using enough so won't peel. I will use hvlp sprayer. Fuck it I'm going to try it.

Van that needs spraying will need sanding more is my theory if it goes to ratshit.
