This is an open day that's been happening a while and building up, they usually have a flypast.

 

Lots of jeeps and interesting vehicles on display and you can go up the control tower and mooch about the hospital museum and there's a cafe on site

There were a few cars on show. This belonged to a customer, I'd done quite a bit of welding on it about 3 years ago, front wing lower edges, sills,B posts and some oil cooler mounts etc.

 

I'm still emotionally scarred from the front wing removal, they are tiger sealed on as well as bolted with about 20 bolts

Most vehicles were Jeep and dodge weapon carriers which don't interest me, some British stuff and a few diamond T's which I quite like

The flypast was good, he got so low you could see the pilots face
