Any Astra G friendly people on here?

In my area - RM13 - Rainham.

 

As you've probably read in my other topic, I fitted a set of front pads to my daughters' X reg Astra 1.6, and have probably caused the seals to flip.

My daughter now can't use her car, and I'm feeling pretty bad about it.

 

Is there anyone local who could possibly sort this for her?

I really don't have the time or inclination, to be honest. Every time I lay my hands on my daughters' car, something drastic happens.

I am not in a position to help, but my last-ditch effort when facing hydraulic problems is to wedge the pedal down overnight. Sometimes works, sometimes doesnt, but costs nothing to try.

You're going to have to remove the cylinder and pull the piston out. Too far for me to get involved I'm afraid.
