vauxhall roof bars,corsa slidey things!

Do roof bars need to be specific for this car? The local motor factors has 3 old sets in,full kits for £4.99. I think one is astra,one is early vectra and another Peugeot. Not 100% though. Will any specific model year astra,cav or vectra roof bars fit my corsa b with the slidey bit? Thanks.

The Vectra ones won't do, but they will fit Xantia hatch, SAAB 9000 and GM900.

 

The best thing to do it look up the Thule application lists and find out what other cars share the Corsa's mounting arrangement, that's how I found out that Vectra hatch bars would fit my Xantia and I managed to score a cheap set that had been badly listed.

That's what I mean mph. I'm wondering if the astra ones would fit my car. Mine has slidey covers,not sure what astras had them though
