 Actually as I was snapping the gates a chap with a big camera told be that this car was there last year (rob had taken it) and wasn't this the Autoshite bike?

 

That was me. I did see your car whilst doing the rounds -

My day didn't go that well.

 

I spent the evening before making a three pin cable for the diagnostic tool, and I got to try that on some 220s, and on a Mini SPI.  I found some problems with the MEMS1.6 protocol and fixed them on the spot, so that was good.

 

I wandered around and demonstrated my diagnostic tool for a few people, and then when I got round to the Rover 800 guys suddenly realised that my laptop no longer had a harddrive  

 

It had fallen out somewhere in the field.

 

I then spent the rest of the day retracing my steps about three times but it has gone.

 

Luckily all of my work was on a second drive, the one that dropped out really only had a Windows installation and nothing else.

 

It really wasted the day though and now I will have to spend £50 on a new drive and spend two days reinstalling Windows.
