No, nothing rack shaped in the box sadly, I ordered everything needed promptly so as to get my driveway back, but one of the pipes was backordered so nothing until Monday, bugger. Anyway, today I attacked this bit.

Things got shitty looking.

Then it all went a bit track day drift slag yo!

Which generated impure thoughts about complimenting the stripped out interior with an ebay performance resistor and cone filter innit so I can spend my weekends wasting much petrol driving around an old airstrip getting my arse handed by barried Corsas and paying for it, but a roll of headliner came with the car so I pasted it up.

I used aerosol glue from RS, impressively sticky when I tried it out by spraying on my fingers in the store, proper shit to a blanket stuff, though found I had to lay it on very thick, so was a bit worrying that it might bleed through, it didn't, I think the cloth is a close enough weave to avoid problems.

I have found a spare alarm plipper, Des.  Shall I post it to you?   Please let me have first refusal to buy the sled back if ever you want to sell it.   Hope you get it all luvverlied up for the summer YOLO.

That would be great, can never have too many plippers, and I must find wherever I safely stashed your Miley Cyrus / Black and White Minstrels / Chas and Dave CDs and get them posted, once I've copied them to cassette tape. I'll alert you when offload time comes.

Finished all my work early today and the rain held off, got the new rack in.

Absolute arse of a job, not cheap either, and I'm unsure the new rack is quite ok, it gives assistance but seems a tad tight and there's a bit of noise when going lock to lock almost as if the pump pressure is low although the old rack was happy with it dribbling aside, I'll have to see if it gets better with use. Swapped the anti roll bar bushes while I was underneath as they were a bit soggy and I think I noticed a bit of improvement when I went for a blast, bad timing saw me caught up with the school run zombies, watched the temperature gauge climb worryingly into the when will that bastard fan cut in zone, then a fan failure warning lamp glowed at me, forcing a bit of naughty under / overtaking past a hundred sickening bloated chav tubs to cool off on a dual carriageway in a homeward direction for a vital investigation of the fans issues. Bypassed the switch and still nothing, then a fumble behind the fusebox showed who was acting the maggot.

So that's all sorted with another relay. Thus far I've fixed broken BL, Ford and Lotus made bits, a little more mining and I hope to reach the Toyota seam, should then make a reliable car.
