Rear Subframe Bushes. Feels like the car has rear-wheel steering when you turn a corner! £1000 job when it's required. I had an issue with the dual zone A/C in mine and occasionally the "Snow Chains" button used to come on for some unknown reason causing it to run down on power and pull off in stupid high gears... (Not all 124's have the snow chain mode!).

On my C250TD with the 5 speed auto (1996) they called it W mode, I didnt ever dare use the switch incase it failed "on" so it would be stuck in Wankered mode.
