Fiat 124 Sport

Pal of mine has just been in touch - he's going to be doing the prep work for another friend's 124 Sport including doing cambelts. A special tool is required A60319 ; any ideas where it can be bought/hired?

Try the BetaBoyz http://www.lanciabeta.co.uk. They most likely have the appropriate tool and they also manufacture hard to source parts.

I've never needed a special tool for doing fiat twink cam belts, is it defo a must-have?

I don't know Mr_B. My mate is a Sud man, indeed goes under the moniker of Mr Sud, so I just assumed he knew what he was on about. I've no idea what this special tool is ...

As bol said,not needed its just so the cams don't move when the belt is off.

Not a Fiat twink, but I'm sure a hefty pair of mole grips were employed to secure the cams, while my attacking my old Mazda for a belt change...
