To Rove or not to Rove(r)

The imminent arrval of The Golden Turd leaves me with a decision to make -

do I keep the shonky Vitty Turbo or do I move it on?

Since getting it I have done a fair amount of mechanical work including replacing the gear change bushes, gear knob and gaiter, restoring the seats (well until the dog scrabbled on them). I can't really justify 3 cars at the moment (not including the BX out on loan) but I don't really want to sell the Rover - firstly it drives really really well, secondly it is uber comfortable and thirdly I have done all sorts of childish things to the turbo charging system

 

Ok the bodywork needs some work and the paint is crap but I am loath to sell it - the insurance is only 30 a month so if I can get a half decent classic policy on the 740 then I'll hold onto it -

 

unless of course any of you shitters have a stiffy for a shonky vitty turbo with a stainless exhaust and childish OMG ITZ A MANUELL TRUBO BOOST AND GAGE!

with which to intimidate BMW 1 series dolly reps?

The 'Finance Director' has indicated that as she organised the dog I am allowed to run the Rover as well, as long as it doesn't cost too much to insure TGT
