Modelzone bargain now. £4.99. Think its a Norev/Eligor casting, but not sure. Seems to be a French commercials collection, as I have a few from it.

Update, got the bugger out of the box and off the baseplate (torx screws with a nib in the middle so had to break that bit off to get a torx bit in), and it is a Norev, and a much superior casting to the Altaya.

Michelin Collection models now. I have a few of these, all picked up for around a fiver, or in some cases much less.

Citroen Arcadiane

Peugeot J series LWB

VW Bay window, which bizarrely when taken apart, has the minibus interior!

Peugeot J SWB

Renault 4 van

Citroen ID, with full measuring equipment detail inside including a wheel/tyre. Will get this in bits at some point to show the interior. A £2.99 bargain.

And finally, the Renault Fourgonette

Those Michelin livery models.... the shop at Santa Pod has a load of Mk1 Transits from that series - none of the others you have, just stacks of the Transit! Severly overpriced though at £7.99 when I looked.

The Transit is one of the rarer models in the series, and would love to get my mitts on one

That Twingo looks weird. A Norev perchance?

Nay, Vitesse. It's a bit sloppy to be honest. The Renault logo is on a wonk on the tailgate and the Police thing goes across the rear wiper.

I should sell it, but I like the fact that it reminds me that Autoshite-loving began young. I chose this model over a McLaren F1 model. I must have been about 14.

Vitesse, models back then not known for quality. I vaguely remember this model from when I was in the trade, anyroad, I got that Michelin ID Safari/Break in bits today (with much swearing, due to those stupid triangle screws), and here are a couple of shots of the 'guts'

And now both ID's together. The quality of the Norev version is much better than the Altaya version.

Been spending again. More minature autoshizzle. Got one of those Seat 124 Lada thigines in rally guise, and a Vanguards Fester XR2. Tempted to get the basic Fester Vanguards model & do a bit of swapping about with wheels/grille/bumpers...

Ive got the same Orion, and my brother has the Escort estate, Escort hatch, Escort cabrio & Orion the lucky so and so!! Did you make the number plates on these, or can you get them from somewhere?

I made them using Coreldraw. Printed them onto self adhesive paper, cut them out & bingo. I've made all sorts of stuff using Corel, including stickers for a Lego ice cream van. Yup I'm a Lego freak too.

The blue oval diecast fleet gained a further addition too yesterday, the blue Fiesta 1.1L in the vanguards range, which may just gain the Wolfrace Sonic allys of the XR2. Simple baseplate swap :P

I have the Michelin Ford Transit on its way, plus a Volvo 144 diorama and a Talbot Solara! Shite tastic! All from the bay of eeee's. This will make 9 from the Michelin collection (plus a Solido 403 van in Michelin livery).

Im thinking about doing a shitters car lot diorama, as I now have plenty of 1/43 tat. You know, a bit like an Arfur Daley lot, portacabin in the corner, bunting etc....
