Luxobarges_Are_Us
I have a thing about 504 coupesI had a look on Lebancoin and I'm simply amazed that there are so many for sale is it something to do with the French economy? They're very popular and they hold their value reasonably well. Think French equivalent of Sherpa coupe, with the added bonus that it actually is a genuinely good car.I am definitely going to try and buy one towards the end of this year/beginning of 2012, as I have a massive amount of wantage for one of them since I watched this film: Helpfully, while there are loads of scenes involving the car, no press or other images contain the 504, but you can see it in this 'extrait' (00:39)http://www.wat.tv/video/lisiere-extrait ... exzl_.html

Luxobarges_Are_Us
That's not a 504 coupe Fiat 130 I reckon Right you are! It's defo a 130. Why am I totally sure that it featured a 504, though? Edit: because I am a bloody IDIOT. The movie featured an 130- it's just I've always been interested in the 504 and just made the mental connection (what with it being set in France and all that). Barrett.in.the.USA
Christ on a bike this thread is dangerous. Despite having no drivers license, no tools, no skills, no experience and no garage*, and currently the other side of the world, I'm pretty convinced that the black Panhard would be well worth bringing over to the UK and getting it 'fixed up' for an MOT. 650 euronuggets seems a steal, even if it is royally fubar'd (which admittedly it does look in the pic) there are mostly aluminium though right so it can't be that bad..... (to use my new favourite autoshite phrase) What's the worst that could happen?Sub 1-litre cheap insurance though! And I would become about 250% cooler if I drove that. And considering how cool I am already, that is bloody excessive levels of cool. * I have one, it's full of firewood and assorted household shite though. I'm going to have to build some sort of storage unit inside it before I convince mother to give it up to me )
