Father Ted
I had to go to Todmorden today to pick up some awning spare bits before we wheel the caravan out in a week of two.O.M.G. Shite tastic.Pre war stuff half hidden behind fences and ivy, 1980's Jap stuff whizzing past me in the street. Lots of tumbledown shite looking buildings that probably are stuffed to the brim with Talbot Tat. Of course, I only managed to get a photo of three things, a CX, a Mk2 Transit and an abandoned Sinclair C5!Pics later.
skattrd
I spent the first 18yrs of my life in Todmorden ... its kind of a strange place, UFO sightings galore, lots of hippies, a beer called "Old Fart" and overall general weirdness .... Great place to grow up though

bangers & mash
The Calder valley in general is full of shite. I took a run out to Tod last friday lunchtime, I photographed a yellow C reg mk2 walk through and a couple of Renault Masters out that way. Let me know next time you're over my way, and I'll give you some locations to find some shite.

Calum_B
I live just the other side of the hill to Tod (I'm just over in Rossendale, Lancashire) and I have to say, I have never really noticed it being much of a chod-fest. Maybe I need to make another journey through there soon! I do go through quite a bit when going the scenic route over to Halifax or Leeds. I often go to Haworth etc too, and if I catch the train to Sheffield back to uni it is from Tod as well.. (though more often than not I drive now). Maybe we have more shite in Rossendale than I realise, so I just don't notice it over the border...

brammy777
Probably a bad thing that I look forward to Holidays to new places just for the shite content now, Bishop Stortford is also pretty good, but not abandoned C5 good....If anyone is in this area and fancies seeing a shedload of stuff, head over to Aldershot. For the tons of shite. And little else...
autofive
thats looks like a 'Nomad' conversion, done by a company in Hull in the late '80s
Guest
It's old giffers going to Gordon Riggs, which also has some (probably dead) lorry-shite in the car park.
Lord Sterling
Wow, an abandonned C5? They must be worth a bit of money surely? I went to a car show/jumble sale where some bloke was trying to flog one.

Mr Lobster
Castle_Lobsta is about ten or fifteen miles from Tod so I occasionally pass through as its a decent short cut to the M62 at Halifax. There is a lot of old chod about but driving through the place on a cold, wet, grey day is one of the worlds most depressing experiences.
HillmanImp
I was going to say i am surprised that C5 not been lifted as i was thinking they might be quite collectable now but a look on the completed listings on E-Bay tells another story. Seem to go for £150 to £300 in working order (i.e. with all their wheels).

In 2001 we took my first Cadillac down to Aldershot so it could be my stepdaughter's wedding car, and I don't remember noticing a lot of shite around... although her mate did bring a Mk4 Escort cabrio, in council-estate condition!
