michael1703
This is one of them, this is wedgie. I've had this car two years and still done naff all really,it had been off the road since 1986, the engine was thoroughly seized as the boot has a louvered bit which ducts air in, unfortunately many years of rainwater went straight down the carb corroding the carb to buggery and seizing the engine so badly it took coke/diesel/oxy acetylen/plus gas/big hammer with timber drift and then.... I had to fit new liners/rings/ good used pistons/new carburettor etc. It runs but I need to sort the jetting out and repair/replace the exhaust. It then needs brakes and a bit of welding. boobydoo
They always reminded me of a dumpy bathtub on wheels. The Imp and Simca 1000 were so much more stylish......but looking at it now, I suppose they are kind of cute!!
barrett
SOLID GOLD SHITE ALERT These things look great, glad there is one in 'the fold' but come on, you've built yourself up now, what else have you got hiding away in your stable? I'm guessing anyone with a beige Prinz has to have some other kwallz shite up his sleeve

dollywobbler
Corking. On my list of 'motors to own' for sure. Love the idea of a twin cylinder engine with overhead camshafts - NSUs even had them in the Fifties!
michael1703
what else have you got hiding away in your stable? A Reliant Simmer Turd, ( dont you know princess anne used to flick herself off in one? )
wuvvum
I'd love to own a Prinz. I had an NSU 1000 once, I can imagine that with a shorter wheelbase and 598cc of 2-cylinder POWAH being a right giggle to buzz about in.
Dave7
Fantastic. I like the Scimitar but love the NSU.
Electric Leyland
For me that Prinz ticks every possible Autoshite box, a vehicle worthy of a 100/100 score.
trigger
Lovely! That NSU is a corker and the GTE's not bad neither. You need to post some photos of your red Jaguar, I remember i photos i posted of it that i took at a show on here provoked a lot of interest. chaseracer
Scimitar rear lights: are they 'borrowed', or generic trailer-type units? When I was a kid, some friends of the parents visited in their (at the time, nearly new) Prinz. We went for a picnic on the Malvern Hills and had to get out and walk beside the NSU on the steep bits...

michael1703
Finally got around to getting a picture of my van. It looks like its a scrapyard find but its still in useIts supposed to be grey, but its got a green tinge to it. yeah, it looks rough cardboard gets it up to temp a bit quicker for short runs i might need a flymo to trim the roof soon mirror rotted off a year or two ago green shite growing in back door rubber a snail has wriggled across it and stained my patina clean bit where i jet washed it last year chick magnet still plenty of rent in the window this is my 58 p4 aka 'the hound' its a good 10ft car but scabby in detail, the grannys love it my mobylette, needs a new rear tyre and a fettle for its next mot
