Never seen this shade of blue on a car before. Ssangyong Rectum bonus shite at the back...

Looks to be Aruba Blue, same as my crappy old Corsa. It looked ok on that but bloody awful on an Ashtray and even worse on a Zafira.

 

 

I always liked it on an Astra Coupe. I've been having unhealthy urges for one recently...

I new someone who had a Ford Pop like that when they were shit not shite. The windscreen wipers were powered by manifold vacuum so they got slower as we went up hills. Not one of Henry's brightest ideas. :mrgreen:

 

This. I had one (circa 25 years ago) and it was frightening in the wet because you had to speed up to see where you were going, not really a fab idea in the pissing rain on skinny crossplies.

Also when I collected it the bloke in the garage said 'don't forget, reverse is where first is' so I promptly got about a mile from the garage and nearly reversed into a bus.

What? :shock: Was there some kind of problem with using a simple motor to run the wipers? Or some "feature" they put in for the hell of it?
