Not original seats, the original would have been fabric top, but they don’t handle the years well. These seats are from an earlier Wolseley 18/85 and a are a popular ‘mod’.

 

Looks a fairly solid car though. I like these a loads. Getting rare now, nice car.

“  It's a great car with a wonderful history, having been purchased new in 1974 by the Church Commissioners as the chauffeur driven car of the Bishop of Gloucester. It did 5 years' service and, in 1979, it was gifted to the chauffeur on his retirement. He ran it until 1985/ 86 then put it in the garage where it stayed until June 2014 when his widow made it available to some members of the Landcrab Club.  “

Cool looking motor, they look so much better than a normal Landcrab IMO.

I love the vertical autobox gear selector.

That top hose looks a bit knackered though !
