saabhappy
Is that A35 a pick-up? Yep - I've seen 3 or 4 around, and this is the shabbiest.
RedSparrow
Lovely early Marina van. I do really think Marinas are quite good looking (almost pretty?!) looking cars.
Mr_Bo11ox
I wish it was still the time when you could buy knackered Marina/Ital vans out of scrapyards for £100, those were the best times of my life and now they are gone
trigger
Your making me well up here Bol. I agree though, the Marina and Ital vans are my most favorite of vans of all time.
RedSparrow
My dad had a dark green Marina van when I were a lad. As a small child I absolutely loved it for some reason, I think because it had a bit of character. I used to call it the A-Team van because I was a fan of the show. Of course it looked nothing like the A-Team van. I was gutted when he sold it to a bloke who parked it in a field to use it as a shed. Wonder if its still there. He then bought an ex-BT Maestro van. Wasn't the same.
Espacetic
Love the Marina. Agree with Bol, I remember picking up tax and tested Mk1 Escorts, Datsun 120Y's, Fiat 132's and SuperMirafiori's etc for £50. I pushed the boat out once and picked up a 10 year old Dolomite HL in Inca Yellow with tax and test for £90. You wouldn't even get a 10 year old Daewoo with no test for that, let alone a quality car like the Dolly was. I still can't stop looking at that HA Viva above and seeing the word labia though
Lord Sterling
Love the Marina Van. I can remember when many were still running around as cheap transport. I cant seem to look at them without being reminded of the hot vinyl seat material and plastic smell they carried off so well. Nice.

MrDuke
I hope you ripped that ridiculous chrome 'thing' from the Marina's bonnet and inserted it into the owner?
brammy777
Hey, that is a seriously early Marina van! I wonder if its the oldest one left? Could very well be. Also, I notice a Bedford KM nearby, love those things, like a TK with a brace. Any more shots from this show? Looks like it was a good one. Simon M
I do really think Marinas are quite good looking (almost pretty?!) looking cars.So do I, especially with the 1300 grille (as seen on yon van above), or the coupe version - if only they weren't so horrible mechanically.....(allegedly!)
