brammy777
Wasnt that big a show, but the selection was amazing. Did anyone else local go to it? Weather struggled to make its mind up, as per. I could only spend 50 minutes there as the trains were annoyingly irregular and I didnt fancy staying two extra hours. Newbury Racecourse must be the most basic station I have ever been to. Anyway heres a selection of cars present....Very early 80s Street Machine, I liked it alot.Pristine VX, owned by a very elderly couple, possible one owner.Anyone know anything about this bodykit?Huge. Ive never seen so many Allegros together. This was one of my favourites.Another spotless gem, this Ital suntor must make for brilliant holidays.Brilliant time capsule Zephyr, front annoyingly obscured.Slightly tatty Riva, good to see one though. This is quite an early MKII, base model too.I reckon this may not have the original engine.Thats all for now! boobydoo
. Ive never seen so many Allegros together. This was one of my favourites. To be fair, all the shows I've been to where the Allegro Club has been, they have put on a great display. They seem a really enthusiastic bunch and always have a great turnout! danthecapriman
lovin that zephyr, it looks spot on. The mk2 Granny is sweet though, a very early one. Must be one of the oldest left now?

pogweasel
+1 for the Granada. Surely not a 'base spec' one on those super-delightful trims though?
r.welfare
All prefacelift Mk2 Grandads (non-Ghias or S's) had those black n' silver wheels. Trim rings wouldn't be standard though (I added a set to my 2.3L), nor is the vinyl roof. I hope it's a 2.0L. Non-PAS 2-spoke steering wheel FTW! brammy777
Some more.Whats the deal with these? Whiter than white Cortina.Note Street Machine esque Escort in background, tried to get a shot but the owner was crowding round it all day, no doubt to explain it to everyone who recoiled in shock.Ugh. Ive seen some pretty well done Phaetons but I really dont like this one.
Pete-M
This is nice. Any more pics of it? I do like the E3. As for the Granny, I'm sure mega-poverty spec jobs had plain wheels as opposed to the ones on that one. Looks like a GL to me. Front fogs, vinyl roof, passengers mirror. Ok, the fogs will be a later addition, but that doesn't look like an L to me.
pogweasel
E3's are ultimate sex-piss material. Do Want.

Same wheels (albeit with trim rings I liberated from a scrapped facelift GL), and a passenger mirror. Plus a push-button radio (P21). And PAS. Bugger all else. That E3 is lovely. I have never seen it around, wonder where it hides? That white Cortina I have seen around Basingstoke.
