Sunny Jim Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Friday to Sunday, me and the dog in the hearse please. If one is doing the full loop is there time to stop for refreshments? KruJoe, tooSavvy and auntiemaryscanary 2 1

Yes definitely I think the full loop is actually a double loop - the little one to get to the food, a chance for folk to gather, and then on to the bigger loop after an early lunch perhaps. There are other places to stop for food on the way around if needs be, it's not going to be a race. tooSavvy, Lacquer Peel and Sunny Jim 1 2
loserone Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I have been chased by the heritage centre for numbers for food, but I think Ive only had one or two vague replies, so my plan is to let them know we're unlikely to make an impact to their trade for the day tooSavvy and auntiemaryscanary 2
Ghosty Posted July 4 Posted July 4 I'll be there on Sat afternoon/evening, into Sunday. KruJoe, Sunny Jim and Schaefft 3

Supernaut Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Fuck it, put me down for camping Fri - Sun. I don't actually have a camping stove or anything like that, I just assume (hope) plenty of other people will. I have a tent and a sleeping bag etc though. Sunny Jim, JMotor, auntiemaryscanary and 2 others 4 1

dome Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Yeah, I should be good for a day trip on the Saturday. Weather looks decent so I'll hopefully take the long way there in the pointy German car with the engine in the wrong place. JMotor, tooSavvy, Jim Bell and 2 others 5

I don't think anyone's ever really noticed, but whenever I'm camping I subside entirely off beer, water and ham and cheese sandwiches. I only bought a tent in 2023! I'm mostly thinking of the last Twixfest I made it to, were it started ejecting high pressure coolant out of the radiator core at the top of that hill. 😂
GeordieInExile Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I'll be heading up on the Sunday for a bacon sandwich in a train followed by a nice Sunday drive, assuming the Panda is fixed and back on the road by then (which it really ought to be if the problem with it is only the aux belt). Torn between going on the gravel road and going over the border into Scotland. I wanna do both. loserone 1
davidfowler2000 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Scotland plans to bring geometric breakfast items on the Saturday. Supplies will be limited to first come / first serve basis. Sunny Jim 1
