If I was rich and connected, I'd establish a rally for this circuit. It would be stopped after the second fiery ravined-based death, but it is a belter of a road providing it can be clear of other traffic.

 

Here's the stats:

 

A(E) to B is 120 miles taking 4h 35m in normal driving conditions

B to C is 78 miles taking 3h 7m in normal driving conditions

C to D is 106 miles taking 4h 26m in normal driving conditions

D to E is 84 miles taking 3h 23m in normal driving conditions.

 

A total of 388 miles that would take me or you 15h 31m to complete. I can vouch for this as it has taken me between 12 and 19 hours depending on traffic and weather. I reckon it's a good 8 hour rally for the brave

Crewe to Chester is my everyday commute but by using the alternative A51 route for the return leg it makes a lovely 50-mile race circuit.

Just beware any overtaking manouveres on the Wardle Straight as I found out at great cost earlier this year
