Going to survey a couple of inevitable kangoos next week as it is bank holiday madness here for Labor day and VE day after that so hey lets just all have the days between off too.

Was browsing retrospec parts, Darius’ cool citroen shop that has car sales and have enquired about an ak350 as obviously thats a practical choice right?

Spent an hour polishing the Berlingo and today it has left the building for good.

They left their old megane thingy with us to use until the volvo is ready on the 15th.

Why is it when you spend ages getting something right and shiny you then think why am I getting rid this is actually a good car.

Oh well onto the next.

Yes everything looks small compared to new equivalents. I remember my grandfather had an austin 1300gt which was considered to be a family car, aunties had hb/c vivas again family cars, cortinas etc. they are dwarfed by equivalents now.

Mrs B’s new car was collected yesterday. Very nice, comfortable, fast and comedically economical after its first home charge.

My hunt for a berlingo replacement keeps coming back to errrr berlingos but hey why make it easy.

Ultimately I will get an e-montego at some point it is inevitable. That said for the now I need a towbar equipped shitheap to get the crap jobs done. ‘Thankfully’ I collected some sand and lime in the old one so I have stuff to be on with but will need the crap wagon soon enough.

I have tried buying old AK 350s 400’s, ex laposte kangaroos, everything is either there are some scam merchant or a pile of old shit.

So maybe I have to help my budget a little.

Bear in mind I’m also going to be bringing 2CV over finally but not sure where that fits in the fleet long-term other than as an indulgence life is a living et cetera YOLO.

Weird one whilst away the volvo battery has died. Ffs thats the fourth car in a row with a shit battery, at least one was disclosed.

The stop start wasn’t working when collected and I initially thought it was me, turns out it is quite a clever car it knew.

Anyway hooray for Amazon an exide agm stop start thing is on its way to its summer custodian.

Anyone fancy a £20ish tax v50 as I think I have spotted something I would like on here.

Owes me about £1500 up to now so offers in the region of please. Motoring doesn’t get cheaper at this level of comfort. Even has a wedge of actual service history! Clean MOT etc.

No I haven’t fitted the aux belt or tensioner yet (in boot) but it is sooo cheap to run with the free tax and silly mpgeeesss how can you say no.

Parcel shelf etc present. Genuinely the comfort in this is outstanding.

Deposits received on both the polo and the volvo.

Ahh thats going to be foolishly inconvenient. Never mind, I can always drive the porsche everywhere although it would be good to part ways after saying I would just keep it for a year.

Also the hymer, it seems unsaleable at the best time of year to sell a camper! Bah-voila.

To add pain to my world I spotted something on here that fits the bill, but really I should go find a sub 5k MG5 e-Montego as that would be sensible right?

What I really want is a big comfy 4x4 thing that isn’t too ruinous, does that even exist?
