Old British Cars  ·

Hi, new here. Thought I'd give this group a try as I'm a big lover of old British cars, particularly BL cars☺️
This is my old British car. I've owned her over 4 years now, and she has plenty of my time, money, sweat, and actual blood in her getting her to this condition!
She is a two owner car, with full history, only 60k miles, and other than a couple of minor spots of tired bodywork I haven't gotten to yet, she's extremely clean, even underneath she's immaculate!
The Austin Ambassador might not be to everyone's taste perhaps, fair enough, but I absolutely love this old girl, she's my pride and joy, and she's a joy to own and drive🥰
She gets plenty of attention wherever I drive her and the comradery out on the road is heart warming☺️ I get let out of junctions easily, people flash lights, more people than not turn to look at her go by. I get waves and comments all the time, and I can't park up anywhere or get fuel without someone coming up for a closer look and to comment.
I've even had people knock at my door asking if I would sell her!
From my experience, out in the real world almost everyone loves this car!
Love them or hate them, whether they were a good car or not. If you're a classic car enthusiast, you have to at least appreciate surviving examples of something, especially when they're as rare as the Ambassador is!

Yes, but it's always good to see it again, it's a very nice example in an interesting colour.
